Establised in 2011, Wedding Tipi Ltd is a family run business based in Carmarthenshire covering Mid, South, West Wales and the borders and further afield.

We pride ourselves in providing a high quality service and product with attention to detail. Covering 1000's of events over the years delivered with care and professionalism,  gaining bounds of tipi & stretch tent knowledge & working with pure efficiency always aiming to raise the targets.

The bulk of our work comes from local reccomendations as opposed to online marketing and we have a growing number of repeat corporate clients annually. We pride ourselves in this, without our wonderful clients we wouldn't be where we are, it is always a joy to build positive long term workng relationships with clients and be part of their event growth over the years.

Every event we cover our onsite and office team strive to provide the best possible customer service.  You can be sure to expect an efficient and friendly service throughout your booking with us, this starts from initial contact right through till we are transporting your tipis or stretch tents back to base after your event. Our office team are happy to deal with any booking queries you may have or offer advice on structures, power, luxury toilets and showers, beautiful venues & reccomended suppliers. Our on site crew are always happy to help with any build queries and work efficiently with attention to detail and a love for what they do.

Stephanie - Director

Stephanie has a pure love for the outdoors and is the director of Wedding Tipi Ltd. She has been working with giant tipis, stretch tents, bell tents and yurts since 2011 following a career in the outdoor activity industry.

Stephanie has hundreds of events under her belt, ample knowledge within the event industry and a very proficient team that she works closely with thus enabling Wedding Tipi Ltd to provide a high-end quality service to all their clients.


Caroline - Warehouse Manager

Caroline is now in her 4th season running our warehouse like a military operation, working with true dedication & strict values, she is an asset to our team and i dont know where we would be without her input. Always happy, bubbly, working with such diligence she is a pleasure to have around.



Will - Crew Chief

Will has been working for Wedding Tipi coming up to 5 years now,  he tows our trailers, manages the team, manages maintenance and loads, has tonnes of tipi knowledge and is always able to figure out any structural queries. Will works super hard on every job we cover, has never let us down and is always smiling and happy to be onsite managing the stretch tent and tipi builds. When not building canvas structures you can find Will surfing, boating, walking his dog and playing cricket, like all our team he has a love for the outdoors.


Alex, Sion, Tom,  Rhiannon, Greg - Tipi Crew

This will be Alex and Sion's 3rd season with Wedding Tipi they are Wills 2nd in command and have become the core part of our onsite build crew both working with a smile and love for what they do. Both understanding the builds and breaks of all our structures, towing our trailers, maintaining kit, meeting clients, conducting site inspections,  always puntcual, reliable and just lovely people.

Tom is now into his 2nd season and has become a pro carpet washer raising the targets daily. Tom has never let us down and works tirelessly maintaining our carpets and occasionally assiting on larger builds. When not working with Wedding Tipi he attends university and enjoys being outdoors.

Rhiannon is an absolute gem, working tirelessley on builds and de-rigs & in the warehouse with such dilligence and determination, showing women that its not just a male industry. Working part time in the office she is wonderful with the clients, pushing our online marketing and working with local venues. When not onsite building our giant tipis or maintaining equipment in the warehouse you can find her travelling to remote destinations 1000's of miles away soaking in the culture

This year we look forward to working our newest team member Greg, currently loving the job, gaining skills and looking forward to a busy season ahead.




Why use a MUTA Member? What's in it for me?

Let’s face it... there are some brilliant marquee and tent hirers out there, and some very poor ones too. The best will build you a first-class structure, keep your stress levels low, manage your on-site risk and be a delight to work with. The worst ones will make your event a nightmare.

MUTA is only interested in having the best companies as members.

Member sign up to a Code of Practice requiring them to be legal, decent, honest and truthful. They are obliged to provide a professional standard of workmanship, to check all their own work, and to maintain public liability insurance of at least £1m, Wedding Tipi Ltd provide up to £10m.

We must follow MUTA's industry-leading Best Practice Guide and submit ourselves to an independent inspection to ensure that we do. Members who fail their inspection are required to make immediate improvements; failure to do so results in expulsion.

If something goes wrong, MUTA members must promptly, efficiently and courteously investigate any complaint. If that process fails, customers can complain directly to MUTA. If MUTA upholds the complaint, members must take the required action or be expelled.
