Establised in 2011, Wedding Tipi Ltd is a family run business based in Carmarthenshire covering Mid, South, West Wales and the borders. We pride ourselves in providing a high quality service and product. We have covered 100's of events over the years each delivered with care and professionalism, the bulk of our work comes from local reccomendations as opposed to online marketing and we pride ourselves in this. You can be sure to expect an efficient and friendly service throughout your booking with us, this starts from initial contact right through till we are transporting your tipis back to base after your event.

Stephanie - Director

Following an exciting career working within the hospitality industry and gaining management skills along with a love for the outdoors, Stephanie's interests led her to wanting to make a broader change to the way in which we live encompassing the environment. Stephanie studied and gained professional qualifactions as a Environmental Impact Assessor, and although she loved the environment, sitting in a  office was certainly not for her, and at every opportunity Stephanie was out braving the elements to get her fix of the outdoors, camping in remote places to be away from the man made world built around us.  Eventually with the help and guidance of Stephanie's family tents were purchased and with lots of hard work and investment the business has continued to grow and so has the love for the very thing that inspired us all, a love born from the outdoors, the comfort  tents provide and making people smile. The rest is history!

 

John - Managing Director 

John is the business mind of Wedding Tipi, with extensive experience of everything business and previously as a managing director of a very large worldwide organisation he brings essential elements to the daily running of the business and is truly an inspiration. John's knowledge of legalities, economies, marketing, manufacturing and much more  gives him a vital role to play in Wedding Tipi.

 

Caroline - Warehouse Manager

Caroline runs our warehouse like a military operation, working with true dedication & strict values, she is an asset to our team and i dont know where we would be without her input.

 

Simon - Marketing Manager & Sales

Simon runs the office and daily administrative duties, he is a true asset to the business bringing in new contracts, liaising with clients, organising events and much more.

 

Adam - Tipi Crew Chief

Adam is our onsite event leader who manages the teams and builds, dealing with clients on every job with a true love of the structures.

 

Will - Tipi 2nd Command

Will has been working with us for 3 years now and is a true asset to our crew,  he tows our trailers and works extra hard on every job we cover. Always smiling and happy to be onsite or in the warehouse.

Wedding Tipi Ltd History

The Wedding Tipi business is something that evolved over time, we love camping, tents and the outdoors and it was a natural progression from the experience we gained from providing luxurious glamping suites for hire at festivals, private parties, weddings and holidays along the Pembrokeshire coast line with sister company Cariad Canvas. With the huge investment required to set the Kata business up we realised that a number of different investors would be required to make it a reality. A whole new set of infrastructure , insurances, equipment, team and storage meant that this venture needed to be a separate entity to Cariad Canvas, hence Wedding Tipi was born.
